The pool officially opens for the 2011 season on Saturday, June 11th and will remain open until a date to be announced this fall.

Swim team practice will be held on weekdays before the pool opens to the community.   Remember that the pool will close early on days when there are home swim meets.   You can check the meet schedule on the swim team page.

When school begins again in August, the pool hours will be modified to the following:

1. NO ADMISSION unless dues are paid in full.  You must have your badge present to enter the pool at all times
2. No glass containers are allowed in pool area under any circumstances.
3. No food or drinks allowed in the pool
4. No foul language, obscene gestures, or illegal substances allowed on pool property. Violations can result in immediate expulsion from the property.
5. No running, pushing, or horse play.  One warning then dismissal from the pool.
6. No weapons allowed on pool property.
7. Smoke only in designated areas.  No smoking under the age of 18.
8. No drinking under the age of 21.
9. No diving in the shallow end of the pool.
10. Everyone must exit the pool if directed by the lifeguard.
11. Do not distract the lifeguards with any unnecessary socializing.
12. No children ages 5 or over allowed in the Baby Pool. No disposable diapers allowed in the pool. Please use swim diapers.
13. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.  The caregiver must be at least 15 years of age.
14. Unsupervised children over the age of 11 will be required to pass a swim test.
15. No pets allowed in the pool area.
16. Any guest must be accompanied by a Painted Tree Swim and Racquet Association member.  All guests must adhere to all pool rules.
17. Guest fees are $2.00 per person per day.  Members age 18 and under may bring only 2 guests at a time.  A guest is anyone who does not live in Terrabrook or Stoneybrook.  A guest does not include a resident who has outstanding money due to the association.
18. If a guest is asked to leave the pool for not following the rules, they will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the pool season.
19. Carolina Pool Management is an agent of the Painted Tree Swim and Racquet Association and has the authority and responsibility to enforce all pool rules.

In an effort to protect and maintain the value of the Painted Tree Swim & Racquet Club Tennis Courts, new measures are being put in place.   Due to the past vandalism and improper use of the tennis courts on the Painted Tree Swim & Racquet Property, along with the cost of repair and maintenance resulting from improper use, and to inhibit court use by non-members, the tennis courts will soon be secured by key-entry.

During all pool-operating hours, keys may be checked out on a first-come first-serve basis by Painted Tree Swim & Racquet Members in good standing (with relation to annual dues) directly from the pool lifeguards.

During the off-season, members wanting access to the tennis courts may easily register for a key with Bumgardner Association.   There will be a one-time deposit fee for each key distributed of $25 (to cover costs of duplication and loss-recovery).

Once the tennis court has been secured, court entry key applications will be available directly on this website for anyone interested in obtaining off-season entry.
